There’s a saying that baking is an art and the baker is an artist.
And for some, it is a hobby, but for many, it is a form of therapy, just like cooking. This holds true when it comes to Hollywood celebrities as well.
In that light, let us discuss five such stars who are passionate about baking and are known for their skills.
Taylor Swift often makes cakes and cookies to show her fondness for a person.
Like, she baked a homemade pink cake for her good friend Selena Gomez to celebrate the latter’s 26th birthday in 2018.
A year later, Swift’s baking skills made news again when she sent a batch of chocolate chip cookies made by her to former rival, Katy Perry.
In 2020, reality TV star Khloé Kardashian started baking her bread, glimpses of which we saw in Keeping Up With the Kardashians and on Kardashian’s social media.
“I am really proud of myself,” she had written along with her maiden such post.
Her first batch comprised four bread loaves and cinnamon sugar pretzels. Soon, she started making cinnamon raisin bread, sourdough loaf, madeleines, etc.
Kylie Jenner is third in this list.
The business mogul is known for her cupcakes. Jenner usually makes them on special occasions like Valentine’s Day and Halloween, but if her mood permits, she bakes a couple on normal days, too.
Her interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard told a magazine once that he built her kitchen so that “she could enjoy cooking to the max.”
Gossip Girl star Blake Lively has a thing for baking, as was confirmed by her husband, actor-producer Ryan Reynolds in an interview years back.
He also joked that during his no-shoot days, he gains weight due to her baked items and that she is “really good” at that (baking).
In June last year, Lively stunned us all with her cake resembling an actual watermelon.
Unlike the aforementioned ones, Emma Stone resorts to baking to handle stress. She picked this habit up while shooting The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), co-starring Andrew Garfield.
“I think I felt out of control of my surroundings. I was just baking all the time. There were stacks of things in the kitchen that nobody could possibly go through. I was over-baking,” she had said then.
