Stars such as 50 Cent, DJ Jazzy Jeff and actress Sophia Bush have spoken out about Will Smith and Chris Rock’s shocking on-stage fall out.
Prior to winning Best Actor, Will stormed the stage and smacked Chris in the face on stage at the Oscars on Sunday night, after the comedian made a joke at the actor’s wife’s expense.
The jaw-dropping incident began when comedian Chris joked about Jada Pinkett Smith’s buzzcut, quipping: “Jada, can’t wait for GI Jane 2.”
Will – who married Jada in 1997 -appeared to walk up to the stage and slap the presenter, before returning to his seat and yelling: “Keep my wife’s name out of your f****** mouth.”
As the world reacted to the shocking altercation, celebrities watching at home took to social media to share their thoughts on the bust up.

“B!tch don’t you ever play with me. LOL,” rapper 50 Cent captioned a screenshot of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air actor taking a swing at the stand-up comic.
One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush had a different take on the incident – pointing out that violence was unwarranted despite such a “cruel” joke.
“Violence isn’t ok. Assault is never the answer. Also? This is the 2nd time that Chris has made fun of Jada on the #Oscars stage, & tonight he went after her alopecia,” the actress mused on Twitter.

“Punching down at someone’s auto-immune disease is wrong. Doing so on purpose is cruel. They both need a breather.”
She added: “For people asking if her alopecia is public knowledge? Yes. She 1st spoke about it in 2018. She’s been open about it since & the Smiths/Rock have a long-overlapping circle.
“Hitting him was not okay. AND his “joke” was cruel & personal. All of it, awful.”
Comedian Kathy Griffin seemingly took Chris’ side in the fall out, tweeting: “Let me tell you something, it’s a very bad practice to walk up on stage and physically assault a Comedian.

“Now we all have to worry about who wants to be the next Will Smith in comedy clubs and theaters.”
Talk show host Connor O’Brien also commented on the most-talked about moment from the evening, quipping: “Just saw the Will Smith slap. Anyone have a late night show I can borrow just for tomorrow?”
Shortly after the shocking incident, Will went on his first ever Oscar – collecting the honour for Best Actor thanks to his leading role in King Richard.

“Love will make you do crazy things,” the emotional winner confessed, referencing his earlier outburst.
He also revealed what Denzel Washington said to him after the smack: “At your highest, that’s when the devil comes for you.”
Will went on to apologise to the Academy, and to his fellow nominees.
Comedian Chris allegedly “declined to file a police report” following the altercation between himself and Will on stage.
The Academy broke its silence on the matter after the show ended, stating it “does not condone violence of any form” in a statement on social media.
