Amy Taeuber has revealed two very cringeworthy celebrity encounters.

The Outspoken the Podcast host recalled the times she met both Melissa Joan Hart and Shannon Noll while working at MIX FM.

In a recent episode, Amy described her run in with Sabrina the Teenage Witch star Hart as ‘so f**king awkward’.

‘She came in for an interview and I was so excited because I used to love Sabrina the Teenage Witch,’ the triplet told sisters Kate and Sophie.

‘Anyway, I didn’t recognise her, because obviously she looked so different to when she was on the show.’

‘And I had just been to the toilet, and I had just come into the studio, and you know when you wash your hands, like I hadn’t dried them.’

‘And they’re like, “This is Melissa,” and I had to put out my hand and I’m like, “I’m sorry, my hand is really wet” because I didn’t want her to think my hand was sweaty.’

‘And she was like, “Oh, okay…” and it was so f**king awkward,’ Taeuber concluded. 

Her other celebrity misstep involved Australian Idol runner-up Shannon Noll.

The 46-year-old singer-songwriter had generously recorded a video in support of Taeuber’s netball team at the time when he came to the MIX studio for an interview.

She said her interaction with Shannon was ‘lovely and helpful’ at the time.

However, a few days later she saw him at a local surf club and approached What About Me hitmaker – with a less than warm reception.

‘I just looked like the biggest f**king groupie of Shannon Noll. It was so embarrassing,’ she said of the encounter.
