Thalapathy Vijay’s much-anticipated film, Beast, hasn’t been able to perform as expected at the box office. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the actioner faced massive competition from Yash’s blockbuster, KGF: Chapter 2. Beast might be nearing its end in theatres.

Beast hit the theatres on April 13, one day ahead of Tamil New Year. The film received mixed reviews from the critics and audiences alike. The film is now in the Rs 200 crore club, but it seems that the slow pace might end the film’s theatrical run.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared an update about Beast’s box office collection in the US as opposed to Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2, Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey and Jr NTR and Ram Charan’s RRR. Beast ranked the last on the list.
