Inside Grace actor John Simm’s life from impressive net worth to actress wife
With viewers looking forward to ITV’s Grace being back on our screens, many fans might be curious about the life of the stars appearing on the show.
In the series, John Simm plays Detective Superintendent Roy Grace, a fictional detective looking to solve suspicious deaths.
Many people may know John from his roles in shows like The Bill, Doctor Who, Life On Mars and of course, Grace, but not many people know about his links to Yorkshire.

The actor, who is also a musician and director, was born in Leeds in 1970 but was raised in a number of places across Lancashire. His dad was a musician from Manchester with whom he used to sing on stage at a young age.
His professional acting debut in the 1990s with a role in TV series Rumpole Of The Bailey. Some people now may have never heard of the show but it was first released in 1978 and ran until 1992 after the seventh series aired.
Over the years he has amassed an impressive net worth which is estimated to be around £112M.
Despite his personal links to Yorkshire, John, who is a Manchester United fan, lives in Brighton with his family. He married actress Kate Magowan in 2004 and the couple have two kids together – a son and a daughter.
His wife Kate has also featured in a number of shows and movies including Eastenders, Silent Witness, Kidulthood and more. Her net worth is estimated to be around £4m.
John has amassed over 75,000 followers on Instagram where he keeps fans up to date with his work. There aren’t many personal posts on his social media.
