Kris Jenner Gets Backlash for Yelling at Driver in ‘The Kardashians’
In case you aren’t keeping up with The Kardashians, last week’s episode had a super sweet moment where Travis Barker hopped on the phone with Kris Jenner and Khloé Kardashian to confirm details about his upcoming proposal to Kourtney Kardashian. And naturally the whole thing was top secret, so Kris Jenner asked her driver to leave the car. Only…it was less of an “ask” and more of a demand that involved yelling, and Buzzfeed reports that Twitter is less than impressed.
During the scene in question, Kris initially started things off pretty politely, saying “Sir, can I ask you to leave us alone for five minutes? I just want to do something real quick.” The driver then left the car, but Khloé pointed out that the trunk was open, prompting Kris to legit yell “close the trunk!” Meanwhile, Khloé tried to get Kris to stop, saying “You’re yelling at a fucking guy” but Kris once again snapped “close the trunk!”
At this point Khloé said to the driver “Excuse me, sir, would you mind closing the trunk for a moment? Thank you so much” and turned to her mom with, “It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it.” Kris acknowledged that Khloé was right, but seemed too focused on speaking to Travis to give it much thought, and now viewers are just….
