There are few Hollywood couples who don’t have a significant age gap. It’s pretty common for one partner to be 10 years older than the other, and sometimes a lot more than that! It only becomes unusual when the woman is the older party… The image of a successful older man with a beautiful younger woman on his arm is surprising to no one. Switch that for a successful older woman and an attractive younger man, and it raises a few eyebrows.

Thandiwe Newton, 49, was recently spotted kissing L.A. musician Lonr., 23, shortly after her husband of 24 years was spotted without his wedding ring. Newton married British director Oliver “Ol” Parker in 1998 but the two haven’t been seen in public together since 2020. Newton recently made headlines after suddenly exiting the upcoming film ‘Magic Mike’s Last Dance,’ stating that she had family matters to deal with. Rumors circulated that she had a disagreement with director Channing Tatum, possibly fueled by the stress of her separation from Parker. 

Lonr. was asked to comment on his PDA with Newton and had this to say: “From the relatively short time I’ve been fortunate to spend with her, I know Thandiwe and Oliver care deeply about the welfare of their children. That’s all I care about right now.”
