Dave Batista opens a new tattoo shop in Florida

Recently, the former Heavyweight champion has now opened a new venture in the world of tattoos.
His tattoo studio, named DC Society Ink, is situated in Tampa, Florida. The location of the shop is important to Batista, as it was the town he grew up in. So this is a nod to the place he holds dear, more than just a business.

While talking to the Tampa Bay Times, Dave Batista said, “This is completely personal for me. I don’t need this. My career is doing great, but this is like a clubhouse for me. I wanted to create an environment for people who want to get a tattoo. But they don’t want to go into one of those tattoo parlors. It’s intimidating and scary and your average person is uncomfortable in that environment.”
Moreover, Big Dave said that the tattoo studio was a dream for him for a long time. His partner in the enterprise is John Kural, who is also his personal tattoo artist. As Kural will be operating the place, Batista added that he is just the money guy.
