Ewan McGregor is saying hello there to marriage. After more than four years together, McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead have tied the knot at a “small wedding for family and close friends,” according to People. The two actors met in 2016 while working together on Fargo. The following year, Winstead and her husband ended their marriage, while the Obi-Wan Kenobi star filed for divorce from his wife in early 2018. They welcomed their first child together in 2021, and McGregor also has four children from his previous marriage. “They had an outdoor ceremony,” a source told People. “It was lovely and joyful. The menu was farm-to-table. They are an adorable couple.” Both McGregor and Winstead are involved with the Star Wars universe, as she’s set to appear in Ahsoka. Maybe soon they can collectively teach the Jedi why attachments are good, actually.
