ITV Emmerdale actor’s forgotten Hollywood career amid soap exit rumours
ITV Emmerdale actor Michael Wildman is world’s apart from his character Al Chapman and actually lives a sweet family life with his famous actress wife and their son. The 49-year-old star has been playing Al since 2019.
Al is currently involved in a feud with long-standing soap character Cain Dingle. Their feud was reignited this week after Cain ruined Al’s latest business venture with Cain’s sister Belle.
Chas Dingle then dropped a huge clue that either Al or Cain could be killed off as she warned Cain their feud could end with one of them in a body bag. Soap bosses have also teased that their feud will come to a head in upcoming scenes.

Michael has actually been on our screens since the 1990’s and has built up an incredible CV. He has enjoyed roles in shows including Silent Witness, Extra’s – alongside Samuel L. Jackson – and Smack The Pony.
The actor played the centaur Magorian in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, a CRI agent in The Bourne Ultimatum, and as Robert Vass in Spooks: The Greater Good – and blockbusters including London Has Fallen, Ready Player One and Fast and Furious spin-off Hobbs & Shaw.
Michael is married to Welsh singer and actress Ceri Ann Gregory who has an impressive career in her own right. She has appeared in sketch comedy series Little Britain and sci fi adventure show Torchwood.
