Anna Kendrick was spotted laughing and enjoying herself with friends while attending the Beach Polo World Cup in sunny Miami Beach over the weekend. 

The actress was seen watching the World Polo League match with friend Hannah Selleck, 33, and her boyfriend, polo player Nic Roldan, 39, from the stands at Collins Park on Saturday. 

The polo fans had a front row view of the game as they indulged in gourmet food, including caviar, and a full open bar at the VIP tent area. 

The sporting event is often touted as the ‘largest’ and most ‘well-known’ beach polo event in the world, drawing 12,000 spectators.

Earlier this year the Pitch Perfect star was reported to be dating SNL alum Bill Hader, however, it appeared she did not attend the match with the comedian.

Selleck, the daughter of renowned Hollywood actor Tom Selleck and wife Jillie Mack, went for similar casual, beach vibes, donning a sheer white cover-up over a black strapless bikini. 

As an accomplished pro equestrian rider herself, Selleck has a deep appreciation for the competitive sport.

Her love for riding may have been influenced by her father, 77, who was well known for his exploits as a horseman while filming westerns in the 70s. 

In a 2013 campaign with Reviver Selleck said she was introduced to the saddle at the age of four.

‘My passion was horses and I knew then that horses was what I wanted to pursue,’ she said. 

‘[My dad] has always been very supportive of my riding and so has my mom.

Selleck, 33, an avid horse rider, has been dating Nic Roldan, an Argentine polo player for the past year

‘My mom is amazing; she comes to nearly every show and is always at the ring video taping my rounds. I wouldn’t be where I am today without all their love and support.’

Kendrick, Selleck, and the rest of the group watched a semi-final match just before Roldan was up next to play and won his semi final match.  

The polo player the following day went on to win the final with his team, Team Casablanca, and was also named the Most Valuable Player for scoring the most points.
