Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 Wraps; James Gunn Teases Surprise Actor

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has wrapped production, and James Gunn has teased an unannounced role.

After a long, tumultuous road, James Gunn has finally wrapped production on his long-awaited Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The film, which looks to complete the trilogy he began in 2014 with Marvel Studios’ breakout sensation is shaping up to be an emotional conclusion for the lovable misfits of the MCU.

In commemoration of the end of production, James Gunn shared some photos to his social media. Here, we see him along with his cast, including Sean Gunn, Pom Klementieff, Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan, and Dave Bautista. He also shared a photo of Zoe Saldana, who is shown with The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker actress Jennifer Holland:

What’s notable is that James Gunn revealed that another photo featuring Zoe Saldana included an unannounced actor from the film. At this time, we already know that along with returning cast members from both the first two films, newcomers Will Poulter and Chukwudi Iwuji are also joining in the mix. It will be interesting to hear who the unannounced cast member will be, but at this point, only time will tell.

Audiences will have the chance to reunite with the Guardians of the Galaxy with our first reunion set for July 8, 2022 when Thor: Love and Thunder hits theaters. Here is the synopsis for the Taika Waititi-directed film:

The film finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for inner peace. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.

Meanwhile, Vol. 3 is written and directed by James Gunn, the film stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, Sylvester Stallone, Will Poulter and Chukwudi Iwuji.
