Bradley Cooper amp; Suki Waterhouse Reunite At Coachella

Suki Waterhouse has launched her music career and subtly taken aim at her ex Bradley Cooper in a ballad about their breakup.

The Divergent Series actress has released her debut album, in which she has written songs about her experiences after more than a decade in the public eye.

The 30-year-old Londoner, who is now dating The Batman’s Robert Pattinson, has borne her soul in many of the songs and took the opportunity to sing of her heartbreak following her split from Bradley Cooper.

The pair dated from 2013 to 2015 when she was 23 and he was 40. A source previously told E! News that the two broke up because Bradley wanted to start a family, while Suki wasn’t ready yet.

The actress’ harrowing ballad Melrose Meltdown is thought to be about their break-up and later seeing him at an awards ceremony.

In it she sings: “Watching you work the room, hoping one day we’re married.”

Without confirming who the song is about, Suki revealed to the Daily Star: “I was in the middle of a break-up, in the middle of the Oscars, running away from security covered in diamonds.

“What fun. I look back on my 22-year-old self and think, ‘What were you doing?'”

Suki took inspiration from being the subject of celeb gossip and turned it into music.

The model’s debut album was a cathartic writing experience as she looked back on a decade in the spotlight.

Suki explained to the publication: “When I first came into contact with reading about myself in that way when I was really young – you know, people saying I was ugly and fat, even worse – it hits you so hard when it first happens.

“But I’ve found peace with it – this living, breathing animal.”

“One song in particular, Bulls**t On The Internet, is the private star’s way of tentatively opening up.

She added: “Obviously, now, there’s a very common thing where you’re going to tell the public about everything that’s ever happened to you and share every way you were wronged, all that kind of stuff. But that never appealed to me.

“I feel like saying anything online is making yourself a puddle to kick – it’s fun for them.”
