Model Simone Holtznagel and personal trainer Jono Castano have confirmed their romance.

The pair went public as they locked lips at mimi’s – the celebrity hotspot owned by Justin Hemmes, who is dating Simone’s sister Madeline.

Simone, 28, and Jono, 31, cosied up on the balcony at the eatery, with the blonde beauty taking selfies while the couple passionately kissed.

They struggled to keep their hands off each other, cuddling close together and chatting, each smiling fondly at the other.

Jono shot a smitten look at Simone as she took a photo of the two of them, before they nestled in together to share another smooch.  

Romance rumours between the trainer and the catwalk star emerged earlier this week.

Talk that the glamorous pair may be an item was stirred when they were spotted at a US National Basketball Association event sponsored by Hennessy, the French cognac, reports The Daily Telegraph.

Meanwhile a source, identified as a ‘friend’, told the Daily Telegraph that Jono and Simone were spending a lot of time together.

‘They enjoy each other’s company a lot,’ the anonymous friend could confirm.

The report said that the Australia’s Next Top Model star first met Jono a few years ago.

Jono, who owns the Acero gym and counts amongst his clients Rita Ora and Rebel Wilson, help to train Simone.

The trainer’s split with his ex-wife Amy was revealed in January, with a source close to the couple telling Daily Mail Australia they broke up early last year, then kept up appearances for several months. 

They were last spotted going for dinner together at Mimi’s restaurant in Sydney in November, shortly after their three-year wedding anniversary.

While they are no longer together, the insider said they remain friends and continue to operate their fitness empire together.

The couple first met on MySpace 13 years ago, before later running into one another at a nightclub and falling in love.

Jono proposed in Maui, Hawaii, on Amy’s birthday, and she described the proposal as romantic and luxurious.

In March 2022 Jono announced he would be making a move to Hollywood ‘in the middle of this year’ after cutting many of his Australian ties, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

Jono said he ‘quietly signed with Camille Thioulouse, the founder of digital talent agency The Société.’ 

Meanwhile, Simone has been in Sydney, enjoying Australian Fashion Week.

The blonde bombshell rose to fame on the 2011 season of Australia’s Next Top Model. 

She most recently starred on Channel Seven’s SAS Australia, which aired from February to March this year.
