The Squid Game star and one of South Korea’s sexiest actors is the latest endorser of homegrown fashion brand Bench

Actor and model Wi Ha Jun, celebrated for his portrayal of police officer Hwang Jun-ho in the Netflix drama series Squid Game, is the new international celebrity endorser of Bench.

The Filipino retail giant posted a 39-second video late Saturday, May 14, on its social media pages, revealing the 30-year-old South Korean actor on Bench wear during a shoot.

Recognized as one of the sexiest men in South Korea right now, the Squid Game star is a fitness buff who frequents the gym, going at least five times a week. He lives an active lifestyle through sports like volleyball and acrobatics. As a fan of mixed martial arts, he joined the cast of the 2021 film Shark: The Beginning. He has even been featured in People Magazine’s list of Sexiest Men on TV for 2021.

His portfolio includes roles in My Golden Life (2017), Something in the Rain (2018), Romance Is a Bonus Book (2019), and 18 Again (2020).  Since Squid Game in 2021, Wi Ha Jun has become one of South Korea’s most sought-after actors.

He recently starred in the tvN drama Bad And Crazy working together with talented actor Lee Dong Wook. Reported to play a part in the upcoming intense crime action drama The Worst Evil, Wi Ha Jun is also set to star in a new K-drama called K Project with fellow South Korean actors Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee.

Now, Wi Ha Jun joins Bench’s stellar list of endorsers composed of A-list Filipino celebrities, Hollywood actors, and South Korean heartthrobs.
