There can’t be many celebrities who would turn down the chance to set foot in The Great British Bake Off tent, and sit on the floor stare anxiously at the oven, hoping to get a famous handshake from Paul Hollywood.
However, Hollywood has claimed that Friends star David Schwimmer pulled out of the celebrity version of the show right at the last minute.
The baking judge claimed that the actor, best known for playing Ross Geller on Friends, was set to appear in the Channel 4 show a few years ago.
In an interview with Closer with fellow judge Prue Leith, Hollywood said he would like to see Schwimmer on the show as “he let us down at the last minute.”
