Selena Gomez just wore our favorite everyday uniform to a Hollywood event.
The “Look at Her Now” singer arrived at the Giving Back Generation event in West Hollywood last night in a black-and-white patterned blazer, a white top, and light-wash jeans. She finished the low-key look with black heels and a matching shoulder bag.
Gomez wore her hair down in loose curls and went for her usual natural makeup look with a dash of black eyeliner.
Gomez’s best friend and roommate, Raquelle Stevens, who runs the video podcast Giving Back Generation (during which she encourages the younger generations to give back), was also present at the event, as were actresses Taylor Ann Thompson and Isabella Ragomo.
The star and Rare Beauty founder recently shared her daily makeup routine on TikTok, featuring her brand’s products. She has also been sharing clips of her morning and night skin care routines. Last week, she made a video of the favorite products she found at CVS.
Apart from her TikTok presence, Gomez has been keeping a low profile. She was missed earlier this year from the Grammys and the Met Gala, and has instead been focusing on promoting mental health (May was Mental Health Awareness Month) and working on her mental fitness platform, Wondermind.
Gomez spoke to BAZAAR.com about the project this April, saying, “Our goal is to create an honest, safe, comfortable place that everyone can turn to.”
She launched Wondermind with her mother, Mandy Teefey, and The Newsette founder Daniella Pierson. All three women have lived with mental illness and are looking to end the stigma around it.
“In our first drop of Wondermind, we’re offering everything from interviews with noteworthy personalities and experts to tips and exercises for practicing your own mental fitness, resources, and more,” Gomez added in her conversation with BAZAAR.
