When Kim Kardashian hosted SNL back in October of 2021, there were jokes that the newly-single mother of four would fall for the show’s resident ladies’ man, Pete Davidson.

When word first got out that Kim and Pete were dating, many assumed it was some sort of elaborate prank.

That Kim would become the latest to fall victim to Pete’s famous charms seemed almost too perfect.

But the mother of four really did fall for the lanky comic — and it was all because of his BDE.

On the new episode of The Kardashians, Kim said she first felt the sparks fly when she and Pete kissed during a sketch in which he played Aladdin and she played Princess Jasmine.

Alas, it initially looked like she was the only one to feel the heat.

“I was like, ‘Oh s–t, maybe I just need to try something different.’ But Pete does not come to my after-party,” she said during the episode.

“Everyone was at my after-party. He does not give me the time of day.”

Kim says she took the initiative following the wrap party snub by contacting an SNL producer and requesting Pete’s phone number.

“I was just thinking, like, I heard about this BDE and I need to get out there. I need to jumpstart,” she laughed, adding:

“I was basically just DTF.”

For those not in the know “BDE” is “big d-ck energy” and “DTF” is “down to f-ck.”

These days, of course, Kim and Pete are in a serious relationship, and much to Kanye’s chagrin, it seems that the romance is progressing rapidly.

On this week’s episode of The Kardashians, Kim gushed about her new man, calling Pete “the best human being I’ve ever met.”

“People always say he’s so funny and it all has to do with how funny he is. But that’s, like, fourth on my list of why I like him,” Kim shared.

“He always wants the best for people, can handle anything, always does it with grace. He’s really, really thoughtful and humble and so genuine. I would say the perfect word to describe him is genuine.”

Kim also revealed that Pete was as eager to hook up as she was, but he initially played hard to get as a strategy.

She said that Pete tried to get her phone number even before her SNL appearance, but Megan Fox discouraged his efforts.

“‘Dude, you have a better shot of me and Machine Gun Kelly getting eaten by crocodiles than you ever getting her number,'” Kim quoted Megan as saying.

From there, Kim offered an update on how the relationship is going and, well — hopefully Kanye is not in the habit of watching The Kardashians.

“When I turned 40, everyone said, ‘It’s the best sex of your life,'” she laughed.

“And so far–” Kim concluded with a wink.

Pete retired from SNL on last month’s season finale, and it seems he’s eager to spend even more time with Kim and her kids.

He’s been a bit more tight-lipped about the relationship, but Pete recently got Kim’s kid’s initials tattooed on his neck.

Davidson has at least two other tatts honoring Kim, including one that says, “My girl is a lawyer.”

Needless to say, it sounds like these two are in it for the long haul.
