Quentin Tarantino’s Jackie Brown star Bridget Fonda, 58, looked worlds away from her glitzy showbiz days when she made a rare outing to run some errands in Los Angeles last week.

The daughter of Pete Fonda and niece of Jane Fonda put on a very casual display, going make-up free while wearing a white pinstriped top teamed with sweatpants.

Bridget’s reappearance may have surprised some of her fans, as she was previously pictured looking the epitome of Hollywood glamour in 2009, while attending the premiere of Tarantino’s World War II epic Inglorious Basterds.

After this, the actress made the decision to step away from the spotlight to focus on being a new mum to her son, who she shares with husband Danny Elfman, a famous composer and the lead singer of Oingo Boingo.

Bridget’s final red carpet appearance saw her showcasing her slender figure in a bold floral gown.

The blonde beauty wore her hair swept away from her face while flaunting her toned legs in the midi dress.

Prior to her departure from her acting career, a fresh-faced Bridget made her debut in the 1980s and 1990s after landing key roles in a number of box office hits.

Bridget is most remembered by movie fans for starring in the 1997 thriller film Single White Female.

One of the earliest pictures of the actress showcased her love of fashion, as she stepped out at Paris Fashion Week in 1983 alongside her mother Susan.

The youthful star posed for cameras in a strapless white satin evening dress embroidered with pearls, designed by Pierre Balmain in 1949.
