Michael Sheen has announced his partner Anna Lundberg is pregnant.

The 53 year old actor shared the happy news on his Twitter feed as he first updated fans on season two of Good Omens by sharing a snap of his character Aziraphale’s coat hanging on the back of a door. The move appeared to hint that he may have wrapped up on filming for the next season of the Terry Pratchett adaptation, where he stars alongside David Tennant.

“At times like this we need all the angels we can get. Sadly it’s time for this one to hang up his coat. However….#GoodOmens2,” he wrote over this.

He then posted a second photo, showing off Anna’s blossoming baby bump as he wrote: “…..it appears there may be another on the way! #AngelDelight”.

Fans flocked to the comments section to share their happiness over the news as one person wrote: “Congratulations, it’s lovely to send your family grow. Best wishes to Anna for a happy and healthy pregnancy.”

Another said: “Oh my God!! I am so very happy for you, Anna and Lyra that she will soon be a big sister, very, very happy. Congratulations sir, with all my heart.” followed by a heart eyes emoji, angel emoji and a red heart emoji.

While a third added: “Ahhh congrats to all of you… yer about to get your heart exploded again…. Good news, thanks for giving us something to smile about.”

It’s believed that Michael and 27 year old Anna first got together back in 2019 after appearing on Celebrity Gogglebox.

At the time, Michael spoke out on the rumours on Twitter as he said: “Wouldn’t normally respond to this kind of thing but for the sake of people I love and who have more important things to focus on right now – I was single from the beginning of last summer until I met my partner Anna who is now going to have our baby. Just for the record. Thanks.”

The couple welcomed their first child Lyra shortly after, and she is now currently two.

Michael is also dad to 23 year old daughter Lily, who he shares with ex Kate Beckinsale, 48.

The couple were together between 1995 and 2003 before deciding to call it quits on their relationship.

Following their separation, Kate went on to marry film director Len Wisemen. The pair were together until 2019 before divorcing.

Kate and Michael’s daughter Lily has followed in the footsteps of her parents as she’s an actor herself.

She’s most well known for her appearances in Everybody’s Fine, Click and Underworld: Evolution – in which she starred with her mum.
