Um, what’s going on here? Kim Kardashian has been forced to go on the record to deny throwing shade at her former best friend, Lara Pippen. Here’s what you need to know.

The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star seemingly shared a post that some people thought was shade directed at “The Real Housewives of Miami” star Kim Kardashian. She wrote, “They can steal your recipe but the sauce won’t taste the same.”

Of course, a lot of people assumed this was in reference to RHOM star Adriana de Moura comparing Larsa to Kim. She made the claim in the new trailer for the upcoming Peacock series. Adriana said, “You left this group of women, come back with a butt as big as Kim Kardashian’s, trying to become the new Kim Kardashian, which you’re never going to be.”

Following Kim’s caption on Instagram, a fan tweeted and wondered, “if this is the shade she was throwing, im am alll here for the pettiness.” Kardashian didn’t take long to douse the flames saying, “No shade throwing, I don’t do subs. I want everyone to win. I just had a good caption LOL.”

Larsa was previously on the show for the first season. She shares four children – Scotty Pippen Jr., 20, Preston, 19, Justin, 16, and Sophia, 13 – with her estranged husband Scottie Pippen.

 Meanwhile, the last time fans got to see any RHOM action was in 2013, when it followed the glamorous lives of of Lea Black, Adriana de Moura, Alexia Echevarria, Marysol Patton, Larsa Pippen, Cristy Rice, Lisa Hochstein and Joanna Krupa, among others. Back in November, Andy Cohen revealed that he was certainly hoping to revive RHOM, seeing how the Real Housewives franchise is still as hot as ever.

He told the Everything Iconic podcast, “I have really been trying to get Peacock to pick up Miami. I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this. I don’t know where we are with that. I have to say the fans of Miami are still very vocal, and so I’ve been an advocate for Peacock bringing back Miami.”
