The winners so far

Fist fight

If you remember well, Chris Rock had brought up Jada Pinkett Smith earlier when he had hosted the Oscars by mockingly saying: “Jada Pinkett Smith boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna’s panties—I wasn’t invited!”. Was Smith’s anger a build up leading to him finally lashing out at Rock today at the Oscars?

Oscars 2022: Will Smith vs Chris Rock. Oh no!

Chris Rock takes the stage to introduce the Best Documentary feature. But things get heated after he says some jokes and takes Jada Pinkett’s name, which leads to Will Smith rushing to the stage and punching Rock, mockingly. But then he storms off and screams “Keep my wife’s name out of your f*****g mouth.” Twice. Rock had made a joke about Jada being in ‘G.I. Jane’ because of her bald head, which she had earlier revealed was caused due to a hair loss condition. What is happening?! We are so confused. Was this scripted? Right after Smith’s lashing out, Rock turned all serious and made the announcement and disappeared from the stage. We need answers.
