Sunday Ratings | THE BLOCK massive yet smallest finale in show history | #TVratingsAU
Even though it was down, it was always going to be thus (though 10’s THE TRAITORS AUSTRALIA delivers its smallest audience to date).
WOW. What a rollercoaster the season 18 finale/auctions for The Block (1,538,000 avg (1,384,000 finale; 1,692,000 winner)) were. A massive result for Nine too, finishing out the season with the series unbeaten. 60 Minutes (700,000) benefits off the back of The Block’s success, before flipping into smaller audiences and a different sort of crime with The First 48 (164,000) and Killer Couples (82,000).
Nine first in both primary (37.4%) and network (44.6%) rankings.
The first semi-final for Australia’s Got Talent (475,000) does reasonable business for Seven, however the rest of the night leaning into true crime with Armed and Dangerous (207,000), Monster Mansion: Evil Behind Bars (116,000), and Born to Kill? (71,000) does very little to maintain it.
Seven second in both primary (16.6%) and network (23%) rankings.
The finale of Inside the Sydney Opera House (323,000) kicked off the ABC’s night well, followed by another ep of Significant Others (194,000). Silent Witness (181,000) led the later night, followed by repeats of The Cry (29,000) and Shetland (DNR).
ABC third in both primary (8.9%) and network (12.5%) rankings.
The Sunday Project (189,000 6:30pm; 209,000 7pm) barely gets a look in for 10 on a night light this. Similarly, The Traitors Australia (206,000) bottoms out as it slides toward the season’s end.NCIS: Hawaii (137,000) and a repeat of FBI (111,000) fill out the schedule for a small and loyal audience.
10 fourth in both primary (7.2%) and network (11.8%) rankings.
All about history on SBS, starting with Curse of the Ancients: Middle Ages (142,000), leaning into King Tut: Allies and Enemies (88,000), and finishing strong with a repeat of Sex and Sensibility (72,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (4.3%) and network (8.2%) rankings.
