New TV Show Ratings: Biggest DVR Gains ‘Night Court’ ‘Fire Country’
Now that midseason newbies such as Fox’s Animal Control and ABC’s The Company You Keep have entered the fray, let’s take fresh stock of broadcast-TV’s freshman class performance-to-date…. (Updated Feb. 28)
Among the fall entries, CBS’ East New York and NBC’s Quantum Leap shared the title of the highest-rated series launch; CBS’ Fire Country, meanwhile, delivered the largest audience for any freshman debut.
Now a bevy of midseason shows have landed on the Live+7 chart, with NBC’s well-sampled Night Court revival off to a strong (and already-renewed) start. And because I know the Magnum P.I. faithful are curious, I’ve included it as a “new-to-NBC” show, at least for now.
Of the new broadcast series that have landed on the Live+7 playback table, which are enjoying the most bodacious bumps, either in their adjusted total or as a percentage gain in their preliminary numbers?
