What will Eloise do with the information about Lady Whistledown’s identity?

Since season 1, Eloise has been determined to find out who Lady Whistledown really is and she finally cracked the case in the season 2 finale. Throughout the season, she collected clues and connected the dots before realizing the Ton’s premiere gossip columnist is actually her bestie, Penelope. Eloise confronts Pen after finding the money she earned from her Whistledown writing and says she wants nothing to do with her.

In the past, Queen Charlotte hired Eloise to sleuth for Lady Whistledown leads and even accused her of being the gossip columnist in season 2. So, will Eloise sell out her ex-best friend? Will she tell her family about it since they’ve been at the forefront of the column multiple times? We’ll have to wait till season 3 to find out.

Will the Sharmas come back for season 3?

Tensions were especially high at the Sheffield/Sharma/Bridgerton family dinner, where the Sharmas reunited with their estranged relatives, the Sheffields. The Sheffields put Edwina’s mom, Mary, on the spot for running off with Kate’s father. They also spill the tea on the arrangement they made with Kate for Edwina’s dowry. Anthony went on to defend the Sharmas throughout the drama, and he decides to keep his distance from the Sheffields.

Since Kate marries Anthony and becomes the viscountess, there’s a chance that the Sharmas will stick around for season 3 — but will they have another face-off with the Sheffields or patch things up?

Will Jack Featherington come back?

Throughout the show, Jack Featherington spends a lot of time in England trying to scam his way into becoming rich. He tricks several people to invest in fake mines in America. Portia Featherington is aware of Jack’s actions, but she sends him on a ship to America after Colin calls him out for his schemes at the Featherington ball. The Featherington ladies are left on their own, but they’ll be okay because of Mrs. Varley’s forged signature. However, there could be a chance that Jack comes back to threaten the Bridgertons and Will Monodrich’s fight club because they’re the only other people who know about his schemes.

Is Theo going to expose Lady Whistledown’s real identity?

Over the course of season 2, Eloise befriends Theo, the assistant at the printing shop where Lady Whistledown’s gossip columns are produced. The more they spend time together cracking the case behind Lady Whistledown’s identity, Eloise starts to develop feelings for Theo. Eventually, Penelope warns Eloise about the consequences of hanging out with Theo and she ends up cutting ties with him. Can this potentially lead Theo to take matters into his own hands and expose Lady Whistledown’s true identity? Only time will tell.

What’s in the cards for Benedict?

Upon finding out that his brother, Anthony, helped buy his way into art school, Benedict drops out and finds himself at a crossroads. Toward the end of season 2, Benedict packs up his art supplies despite Anthony encouraging him to stay in school. Is he done with art for good? If season 3 is based on the third book in the Bridgerton series, then we’ll finally get to see more of Benedict and his journey with art and love.

Is Edwina going to marry Prince Friedrich?

Although Edwina walked down the aisle at the end of season 2, she didn’t end up getting married. Queen Charlotte gave Anthony and Kate her stamp of approval but made it a point to play matchmaker and tell Edwina (a.k.a her diamond of the season) that her nephew Prince Friedrich is still single. Charlotte wanted Friedrich to wed Daphne in season 1, but she ended up marrying the duke, Simon. Based on this development, it looks like Edwina and Friedrich could potentially have a royal wedding next season.
