The Kardashian-Jenners love using extensions and wigs to create their showstopping styles.

Kim Kardashian’s endless dark hair is a famous fixture and sometimes it’s platinum (or red, or BLUE), while Kylie Jenner’s equally long locks are a signature of hers – and Khloe Kardashian’s now-blonde tresses nearly reach the floor.

But when they’re relaxing at home, they let the equally gorgeous truth out as well as their wigs, hairpieces and the rest.

During Vogue‘s 73 Questions With Kylie Jenner in 2021, Kylie revealed the “craziest” rumor she’s heard about her mega-famous family, saying: “That we’re all actually bald,” to which the cameraman responded, “are you kidding me?”

She may have been extending the truth a bit, but Kylie, 24, does proudly take credit for introducing the Kardashian-Jenners to hairpieces.

“I started wigs, and now everyone is wearing wigs. Kim [Kardashian] just used my wig guy last night…I just do whatever I want to do, and people will follow,” the proud family princess told Marie Claire in 2016.

Now, the famous family switches out their hairstyles and lengths regularly to give them endless options, which fans love.

But they also love their real thing.

KYLIE’S LIGHTER LOOK

In 2020, the now-mom-of-two flaunted her naturally short hairstyle, which is chin-length.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star took to her Instagram Stories to expose her hair without extensions during a beauty routine, showing it was shorter and much lighter.

Hints of blonde highlights could still be seen running through her wet hair, which had been parted straight down the middle mid-treatment.

Showing fans she was applying hair color at home, her caption above the photos confessed: “Roots almost there.”

KIM GETS SHORT WITH FANS

Kim, 41, has rocked her long, luxurious dark hair since she first entered the limelight.

But her real hair is a bit shorter; once, a bit too short for her liking.

Longtime hairstylist, Chris Appleton, posted a photo of Kim’s bold bob on Instagram in 2018, confirming in the comments that the new style is “not a wig” per TODAY.

“What do you guys think of my short hair?” she asked her fans in an additional Instagram video with him. “I’m so annoyed that I cut it. I feel cutesy … not sexy. No, I don’t feel sexy in short hair. I feel sexy with long hair.”

“Love, perfect,” one fan commented.

However, Kim layered on her longing for her old look tweeting: “Wait I miss my long hair.”

She’s now rarely seen without her signature long locks, though in October 2020, she wore short French-braided pigtails, which appeared to be her real hair as well – while sharing Instagram snaps in the Dominican Republic.

KHLOE’S CURLS

Khloe, 37, is frequently causing concern for her photoshop gaffs and “unrecognizable” changing looks – but she revealed her naturally gorgeous curls in 2021, which fans loved.

Her natural light brown shade and wild curls, which she shared to Instagram, are vastly different than her usual waist-length blonde extensions.

Khloe shared mirror photos of her toned figure in a purple matching gym set and also filmed a short clip as she ran her fingers through her hair.

The California native captioned her post: “I rarely wear my natural hair texture. Felt kinda cute with it (please don’t ruin the feeling).”

Her sister Kendall Jenner wrote: “i love your natural hair.”

While Malika Haqq supported her BFF by writing: “My fav.”

KOURTNEY’S LOCKDOWN LOCKS

Kourtney, 42, showed off her natural hair in January with a series of photos free of extensions that showed her shoulder-length bob.

She posed in a red leather outfit with her much shorter real hair in a bob.

And earlier, she appeared in a POOSH video alongside sister Khloe in 2020 and showed off her product-free hair which is wavy and beachy.

Though her hair is now a fashionable bob her natural look was VASTLY different.

“This is [my] hair from just taking a shower and letting it dry and sleeping on it, and so I haven’t even brushed my hair today!” Kourtney said at the time with peak-pandemic pluck.

“I’ve only been doing this since quarantine time, I just rinse my hair with water after [I’m done working out], especially since I haven’t been seeing anyone.

So I rinse my hair with water, then it has my hair’s natural oils and then I can slick it with a silk scrunchie. That’s just been my jam.”

Khloe seated with her noted on her routine for her natural curls during quarantine, with her hair pulled back in the video:

“My thing is normally the beginning of the week is when I wash and blow dry my hair — but today I haven’t done anything, so I’ll probably do it tomorrow!”

“Kourtney it’s honestly insane how effortlessly beautiful you are!” one Youtuber wrote.
