Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson said post-match: ‘There was a bit of edginess in the first half and some uncharacteristic errors from both sides, but there was a lot at stake.
‘But I thought we grew into the game and a couple of really good chances to take the lead and didn’t take them.
‘But with Mulls on the pitch you always believe that you’re going to get a goal.’
Ryan Reynolds also took to Twitter, by writing: ‘Seeing this in person was a top ten life moment for me. Thank you, Wrexham.’
Wrexham will now be looking to grab some silverware at Wembley as well as continue their mission of gaining promotion back to the Football League.
The Red Dragons have been out of the Football League since 2008 and have gone close, but failed on many occasions, but they’ll be hoping this season can be different.
They return to National League action when they host Barnet on Tuesday evening.
