Jeremy Renner is Grateful to the only Avengers Star Who Was at His Bedside While He Fought For His Life After Snowplow Accident
Jeremy Renner is popularly known for his role as Hawkeye/Clint Barton in the MCU. Recently he went through a life-threatening incident in the Reno area in Nevada. Many of his co-stars came forward to pray and wish a speedy recovery to him after this tragic incident. Renner has always shared a close bond with his Avengers co-stars.
The friendship between the cast was never restricted to onscreen but they have always been there for each other in bad times. But there was one specific Avenger friend of Renner who was there beside him in this critical condition. Even his other Avengers co-stars were concerned about his health condition and sent him messages of support.
Jeremy Renner Reveals The Avengers Co-Star Who Was There By His Side In Reno
Jeremy Renner went to celebrate his Christmas Eve in Nevada. But this happy moment of New Year’s turned into a disaster one for him as he got crushed by a snowplow machine. According to reports, as Renner exited the snow plow machine, he realized it was heading toward his nephew. In the process of saving the child from getting crushed, Jeremy Renner tried to stop the vehicle but got run over by the machine.
Reports reveal that he broke over 30 of his bones, and suffered injuries and chest trauma. Coming out of the incident trauma wasn’t easy for Kill the Messenger actor. But an Avenger costar of him was there with him to give him support in this horrific time. The actor was none other than New Captain America star Anthony Mackie who was there at his bedside in the hospital.
Other Avengers co-stars also reached out to him in these tough times. Some of his Marvel friends include Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Cobie Smulders, Paul Bettany, Taika Waititi, Tony Dalton, The Russo Brothers, and so on.
Jeremy Renner’s Take On Snow Plow Incident
Recently Jeremy Renner sat down with an ABC News reporter after 87 days after his tragic snow plowing incident. In the interview, he held himself responsible for getting crushed by the machine. He adds that he should’ve been a little more careful and shouldn’t have exited the vehicle. He thinks that he made a mistake and the incident was his payoff for this.
“I just happened to be the dummy standing on the dang track a little bit, seeing if my nephew was there. You shouldn’t be outside the vehicle when you’re operating it, you know what I mean? It’s like driving a car with one foot out of the car. But it is what it was. And it’s my mistake, and I paid for it.”
Anthony Mackie and Jeremy Renner have not just worked together in Marvel movies. But they have also starred together in a film named Hurt Locker. The two stars will be reuniting once again in The Town actor’s new series named Rennervations.
The docu-series will be streaming on Disney+ on April 12th, 2023.
