Back in March of 2022, we told you about Rod Stewart fixing a troublesome road riddled with potholes near his home in England. Among the potholes’ victims was an ambulance. Something needed to be done, so Stewart picked up a shovel and got to work.
Just as Rod did a year ago, Arnold Schwarzenegger recently took matters into his own hands. Fox 11 Los Angeles reports that, after many cars and bikes were damaged, the bodybuilder/actor/former governor was spotted filling a large pothole in his L.A. neighborhood.
A video posted on social media shows the 75-year-old Schwarzenegger making a difference in his community. He tweeted, “Today, after the whole neighborhood has been upset about this giant pothole that’s been screwing up cars and bicycles for weeks, I went out with my team and fixed it.” Arnold even got a drive-by “thank you” from a grateful neighbor.
When he was governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger always said, “Let’s not complain. Let’s do something about it.” Maybe instead of the Terminator, we should be calling him the TARminator. And do you think if another pothole goes unfilled in Arnold’s neighborhood, he’ll be back? Okay, I’ll stop.
