Marvel movies dominate the box office, though the latest film, “The Marvels,” isn’t doing so hot.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has earned more than $29 billion, making it the biggest movie franchise ever.
Insider ranked all 33 MCU movies by their global box office, according to IMDb Pro data.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe, spanning 33 movies and counting, is the biggest movie franchise in history, having earned more than $29 billion worldwide.
Marvel films usually do pretty well at the box office, but the franchise’s latest movie, “The Marvels,” hasn’t been quite so lucky.
The film, starring Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson, posted the worst opening-weekend box office numbers of any MCU film to date. The flop is partly due to actors’ inability to promote the film until a day before it opened, owing to the timing of the SAG-AFTRA strike.
