Country star Chris Stapleton will return to the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater July 14. He's headlined the Amp twice before, in 2018 and 2016.

Two new concerts have been added to the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater’s 2022 season, according to Birmingham-based booking agent Red Mountain Entertainment. Returning country star Chris Stapleton will play July 14, with Elle King and Madeline Edwards opening. Pop band LANY will make its first appearance in Tuscaloosa Aug. 29, with Surfaces opening that evening.

Tickets for both go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, through www.ticketmaster.com, or at the Amp box office. Stapleton tickets will be $119.75, $89.75, and $59.75. LANY tickets wlll be $69.50, $49.50, $39.50, and $29.50. Other fees will be included.

Stapleton played the Amp in 2018 and 2016 as headliner, with that first show selling out in less than two hours. He had been in Tuscaloosa at least once before as singer for bluegrass group The Steeldrivers, who played the Bama Theatre in 2008.
