Charlotte Dawson‘s fiancé Matt Sarsfield has reassured his social media followers that they are both “all fine” after they unfollowed each other online.

Earlier in the day, the couple, who have been engaged for almost two years and are parents to their 14-month-old son Noah, unfollowed each other’s accounts after Charlotte announced she’s trying to come to terms with some “awful news” she received.

However, Matt has now broken his silence as he took to his Instagram Story on Thursday night with the message: “We are all fine. Just received some bad news as a family this week.”

“@CharlotteDawsy will be back in her own time,” Matt added alongside a blue and red heart emoji and a family emoji.

Charlotte has since re-followed Matt on Instagram. However it appears as though Matt is yet to click follow on Charlotte’s account.

OK! approached Charlotte’s representative for comment earlier on Thursday.

It comes just a day after Charlotte left fans concerned as she took to Instagram Stories to share why she had been so quiet after receiving a flurry of messages from her 1.3 million followers.

Assuring fans that her son Noah is “absolutely fine” following his hospital trip after suffering an accident, she explained: “Receiving so many messages why I’ve been quiet & is Noah ok.. Noah is absolutely fine, he’s amazing.”

Charlotte continued: “It’s me that’s not ok.. We have had some awful news & just trying to come to terms with it,” alongside a broken heart emoji, a red heart emoji and a praying hands emoji.

She added: “Will be back soon. Love you all x”.

Charlotte revealed Noah was rushed to A&E on 11 April after an accident at home left him “projectile vomiting and passing out”.

She and Matt, 30, took their son to hospital after he banged his head and later suffered a funny turn.

They got engaged in September 2020 and welcomed their first child together in January 2021

The couple had been out together a celebration for a christening before the accident.

Posting an image of herself and Noah, Charlotte wrote: “Well didn’t think we’d end up in b**dy A&E FFS”, followed by a crying face emoji.

After receiving concerned messages from fans, she later shared an update on Noah as she posted a photo of the tot sleeping in his pushchair.

“Thank you for all your messages, love you all,” she began.

“He banged his cheek and head on the leg of a table today and kept projectile vomiting until he passed out and was dizzy.

“Terrified us. Finally getting into bed. Glad we went to the hospital and got checked. Our cherub you are just so precious.”

Charlotte and Matt have had an on/off relationship since they began dating. They previously split in March 2020, just weeks after doing couple’s therapy on Celebs Go Dating.

They later got engaged in September 2020 and welcomed their first child together in January 2021.
