Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds was seen cheering at a Wrexham soccer game.

In a video posted to social media, Reynolds can be seen laughing and interacting with the crowd as they chant “there’s only one Ryan Reynolds”.

Reynolds, the star of the superhero comedy movie Deadpool, and fellow actor Rob McElhenney, the creator of the TV series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, bought the Wales-based club in 2021 from the supporters.

The Canadian actor had a lot to cheer for in Saturday’s match when they beat Stockport 2-0 in the semi-final of the FA Trophy, a knockout tournament for lower league clubs. They face Bromley, from south London, in the final on May 22 at Wembley Stadium.

Despite its location in Wales, the club plays in the National League (fifth-tier) of the English soccer pyramid.
