The pair originally bought the home for $US 8.5 million ($11.5 million) in 2007, then made a series of bespoke additions and changes to turn it into a true compound reminiscent of a “Tuscan village”.
The gorgeous property includes a mansion-sized main house with five bedrooms, plus a detached two-bedroom guesthouse and a standalone poolhouse/gym with its own kitchen.
The estate has 11 bathrooms, a home cinema and rolling lawns with “enchanted vegetable gardens”, viewing decks, and loggias.
The home is fully equipped with smart technology too.
Ciara and Russell Wilson list incredible Washington mansion with two-storey treehouse
Singer-songwriter megastar Ciara and her Professional NFL player husband Russell Wilson have listed their Washington estate for a whopping $US 36 million ($48.3 million). But there are quite a few unique features that play into the asking price.
Set over an expansive 7650sqm in the affluent locale of Bellevue with 82 metres of prime shoreline on Lake Washington, just the landholding of this property is enough to drop jaws to the floor.
However, with over 1000sqm of internal living space, the six-bedroom, seven-bathroom, multi-storey mansion holds its own.
Built in 2007, the residence comes packing luxuries like a giant entrance hall with six-metre tall ceilings, a professional kitchen with luxury appliances and two separate dining halls, both of which are lavished with high-class fixtures and finishings.
There’s also a sizeable home gym, yoga studio, recording studio, man cave/games room, child’s playroom, home theatre, dual walk-in robes that are both bigger than a studio apartment, and a primary suite that looks less like a home’s bedroom, and more like the presidential suite at a six-star hotel.
Outside, there’s a charming alfresco area, a chill zone with fire pit, a half-basketball court and a jetty with multiple mooring options. But there are two further features that have been turning heads.
The first is a treehouse so amazing it could double as a cute guest house, with its plush interior finishings and a big flat-screen TV. The other is a genuine aerial tramway, which can transport occupants from the garden’s top portion all the way down to the water’s edge.
According to Dirt, Wilson and Ciara picked up the staggering property in two separate purchases for a total of just $US 13.4 million ($18 million), meaning that if they get anywhere near the sale price, they’ll be making a veritable fortune.
Veteran stage and screen actor Tony Shalhoub lists NYC Upper West Side co-op
Tony Shalhoub, who you might know from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, has listed his co-operative apartment in a full-service pre-war apartment house on New York’s Upper West Side for $US 4.5 million ($6.1 million), according to Dirt.
Shalhoub is one of showbiz’s more decorated veterans, owner of a bevvy of awards including five Emmys, half a dozen Screen Actors Guild Awards and a Golden Globe, most of them for his roles on Monk and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. He also has a 2018 Tony for the critically beloved musical, The Band’s Visit.
Designed by Emery Roth and built in 1930, Shalhoub’s building is in an exceptional location half a block off Central Park and directly across from the Museum of Natural History.
The building is known for both its generously proportioned apartments and well-heeled residents, who pay a small fortune ($US 5,126 a month in the case of Shalhoub’s place, according to Dirt) for luxury services and amenities like a 24-hour doorman, attended lobby, health club and children’s playroom.
The two-bed, 2.5-bath spread has been modernised but retains character features of the era, including original herringbone parquet flooring in the living area.
