The short-lived team was known for plenty during that time: having more penalty minutes in one season than any other team, having a 17-year old president, A.J. Galante and his father being an alleged member of the Genovese crime family. On Aug. 31, 2021, the documentary “Untold: Crime & Penalties” premiered on Netflix exploring the story of the team and its infamous fights that invigorated fans at the Danbury Ice Arena. The team became embroiled in the FBI’s take down of James (Jimmy) Galante, A.J.’s father and a trash magnate with ties to the mob and the Genovese crime family.
