David Beckham, Lady Gaga and Dolly Parton are A-list guardians
Bearing in mind the saying “it’s not what you know, it’s who you know”, it’s no wonder so many stars ask other celebrities to be godparents to their children.
The latest to choose an A-list guardian for their offspring is actor Aaron Paul, who this week revealed he had chosen his Breaking Bad co-star Bryan Cranston to be godfather to his newborn son, his second child with wife Lauren Parsekian.
Paul revealed the news, as well as the baby’s name, Ryden, in an interview on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
“I asked Bryan on his birthday if he would be our baby’s godfather,” the actor said. “He’s very excited, very honoured. I love the man to death. He’s one of my best friends in the world, and, so yeah, it was just a no-brainer.”
