Bollywood’s Mastani Deepika Padukone has added another feather to her glowing hat. The Gehraiyaan actress has made it to the jury list of Cannes 2022. Yes, you read that right! Dips will be joining renowned Hollywood personalities on the jury. She is among the chosen 9 to be on the jury for Cannes this year and it is indeed a proud moment for all her fans. The actress, who has been slaying the red carpet of the festival for the past few years, shared this exciting news on her Instagram story. 

The official Twitter handle of Festival de Cannes shared a photo of its jury members and wrote, “French actor Vincent Lindon is the Jury President of the 75th Festival de Cannes! Along with his eight jury members, he will reward one of the 21 films in Competition with the Palme d’or, on Saturday May 28, during the Closing Ceremony. #Cannes2022.” 

Cannes 2022 will begin on May 17 and will reward one of the 21 films in competition with the Palme d’or during the closing ceremony on May 28. In a statement, Vincent Lindon said that the jury “will strive to take the best possible care of the films of the future.”
