And on Saturday, Emmy Rossum was on theme as she appeared bra-less under a pink pantsuit at an event promoting her new streaming show.

The Shameless star Emmy Rossum worked the red carpet as she arrived for NBCUniversal’s FYC event for Angelyne,  a five-episode series available on the Peacock streaming service.

The actress, 35, beamed as she flashed cleavage while posing for photographers at the event.

She added inches with white sandal heels and left her long dark hair styled loose around her shoulders.

Rossum was initially reported to have been attached to Angelyne in February of 2020.

In addition to serving as the program’s lead, the actress is also one of its executive producers.

Other cast members include Martin Freeman, Hamish Linklater and Michael Angarano. 

She was joined at the event by producer and writer Allison Miller, as well as Jessica Radloff.

The show is centered on the life of the media figure of the same name, who became famous for being featured on billboards installed around Los Angeles in the 1980s.

The occasional actress and singer also became well known for keeping her personal life withheld from the public.

The details about Angelyne’s early life were finally revealed in a piece that was published by The Hollywood Reporter in 2017.

Production on the program was quickly shout down by the onset of the global pandemic.

Filming later picked up and continued in Los Angeles throughout much of last year.

Angelyne eventually made its debut on the Peacock streaming service on May 19, and it has since received an 82% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Rossum spoke about portraying the media figure during an interview with IndieWire, where she remarked that the actress’ mystique was particularly interesting to her. 

‘She was glamorous and famous, and loved, and celebrated for being who she was. [But] no one else seemed to know who that was and there was a contradiction that fascinated me,’ she said.

The performer then noted that she and the show’s team used numerous sources to construct the program’s storyline. 

She recalled: ‘It was a combination of using all of these pieces of the puzzle to formulate a tapestry of different colors which I could access for different moments in the story depending upon who was telling the story at that moment.’

Rossum concluded by stating: ‘This is the story of reinvention [and] survival. Holding her work close to my heart made me believe that I could do that.’

Angelyne has given a thumbs down to the new Peacock series that features her name.

In an interview with Inside Edition, the 71-year-old, who is famous for being famous, said the mini-series starring Emmy Rossum ‘doesn’t do me justice,’ and added, ‘Would you be flattered if someone played you and misrepresented you?’

She added, ‘I had a little glimpse of it and I refused to watch it.’

The limited series is based on a 2017 Hollywood Reporter story that claimed her true identity was Ronia Tamar Goldberg who was born in Poland in 1950 to Holocaust survivors. 

The actress reportedly went by Renee Goldberg when she was growing up in Los Angeles’ San Fernando valley. 

The celebrity denies that she is that person, adamantly asserting, ‘I was born Angelyne.’
