“Let us begin today’s bulletin with news on Hollywood star Brad Pitt. The actor says he found the “most fun” role of his career in Ladybug, a chump of an assassin, in the upcoming action film Bullet Train.
The Oscar-winning actor headlines the Sony movie directed by Deadpool 2 director David Leitch, who previously served as Pitt’s stunt double in many movies such as Fight Club and Troy.
Brad Pitt said Bullet Train came to him at the peak of the coronavirus pandemic and felt like a breath of fresh air.

“Meanwhile, the first poster of Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer is out, and it shows the devastating effect of the atomic bomb. Starring Cillian Murphy in the titular role, the film is a biopic of J Robert Oppenheimer, who led the Manhattan Project during World War II.
The poster shows the silhouette of a man, presumably Murphy, as he walks in a cloud of fire and smoke. The film releases in theatres on July 21, 2023.
Oppenheimer also stars Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr, Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, and Rami Malek, among others. The film is based on the scientist’s biography titled American Prometheus, written by Kai Bird and Martin J Sherwin.

“Moving on, Hollywood director duo Joe and Anthony Russo, better known as the Russo Brothers, are in India to promote their latest offering The Gray Man. Apart from Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans, the film stars Dhanush in a pivotal role. At the press meet on Thursday, the filmmakers said they are impressed by the talent in India and even shared that they would love to collaborate more with actors from the country.
Calling the film community of India ‘passionate and vibrant’, Joe said, “We love India. We love the vibrant film community here. We would love to find as many projects as possible with Indian talent – producers, actors, and directors. It is exciting to us.”

“Keeping “The Gray Man” in the talks, Dhanush is all set to make his Hollywood debut with Russo Brothers’. At the press conference of the film held in Mumbai, the actor spoke about his experience and even addressed the fact that his character was specified as the ‘sexy Tamil friend’.
Given the times when actors are fighting the regional divide, Dhanush was questioned about why his character Avik San was relegated to a region. He defended the same saying it was done to only add more ‘flavour and detail’.

“Meanwhile, Actor-comedian Eddie Murphy is set to star in a holiday comedy titled ‘Candy Cane Lane’ for Prime Video, the streamer announced recently. Veteran filmmaker Reginald Hudlin will be directing the movie from a speculative screenplay written by Kelly Younger.
Hudlin, who has previously worked with Murphy on the 1992 hit Boomerang, said he is thrilled to team up with the actor again. The director said in a statement, “The holiday season is my favourite time of year — just ask my family about my nine-hour Christmas playlist! “Lastly, Filmmaker Simon McQuoid, who made his directorial debut with 2021’s Mortal Kombat movie, has been roped in by production company New Line Cinema to direct the sequel. According to Variety, McQuoid will direct the upcoming film from a script penned by Jeremy Slater.
