She celebrated her 76th birthday earlier this month.

And Liza Minnelli was seen enjoying a meal out at Il Piccolo restaurant in West Hollywood, California, with actor George Hamilton, 82, on Monday night.

The actress, best known for her 1972 movie Cabaret, was seen being escorted out the restaurant in a wheelchair while a man was seen holding her hand and helping her into her car.

Liza looked stylish in a sparkling black ensemble for the evening outing, while she styled her signature dark tresses in a choppy pixie cut.

She was joined by her longtime friend George, who cut a dapper figure in a navy suit jacket, sand trousers and a white buttoned shirt.

He styled his silver tresses in a slicked back style while appeared to be in excellent spirits as he flashed a huge grin.

The Dynasty star was seen standing next to Liza’s car and chatting with her while holding the door before the pair parted ways.

Liza – the daughter of Judy Garland and Vincente Minnelli – previously said she was not happy with the movie about her mother Judy, best remembered for Wizard Of Oz.

Renee Zellweger played the A Star Is Born actress in a biopic about her life, which came out in October 2019.

In February 2020, Liza revealed that she as no interest in seeing the film Judy, a biopic about her mother with Renee Zellweger in the starring role, she said in her Variety cover story.

She said of the film: ‘I hope [Zellweger] had a good time making it.’ 

In June 2018, Liza took to her Facebook page to slam reports that she bonded with Renee after she landed the role of her mother in the film.

Liza said: ‘I have never met or spoken to Renee Zellweger… I don’t know how these stories get started, but I do not approve nor sanction the upcoming film about Judy Garland in any way. Any reports to the contrary are 100% Fiction.’

The film covers the movie star’s last year of her life after she moved to London and saw Renee undergo a dramatic transformation to play the role.

The film had both commercial and critical success, with Renee, 50, also winning a multitude of accolades.

Renee won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama, a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role, a British Academy Film Awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role.

Liza was born on March 12, 1946, to Judy and Vicente. Judy died on June 22, 1969, in London at age 47 due to a barbiturate overdose and Vincente passed away at age 83 from emphysema and pneumonia.

The actress said ‘it took a minute’ to listen to her mother’s music after she passed away.

Liza was three when she first performed onstage.

The actress said eight years after her first time on a stage, her mom would sing Swanee from A Star Is Born and made her dance to it.

‘I’d say “I don’t have a choreographer,” which made her laugh. She got such a kick out of it. It was like, “Look what I made.” And I was so happy whenever she was happy.’

Liza said: ‘my parents were my parents,’ when asked when she knew they were famous, adding: ‘I didn’t know I had to dodge questions about mama until people started asking me questions. I asked my father what to do, and he said, “Be as good as you can and as good as you are.'”

She continued: ‘He said something like, “So what? They ask me the same questions.” Mama got angry. She was one who got angry at people for asking me questions about her.’

Liza said the hardest part about showbusiness was ‘getting to be known as myself as opposed to somebody’s daughter’.

She won an Oscar for her role in the 1972 film Cabaret at the age of 26.
