‘Halftime,’ A JLo Documentary, Is Coming To Netflix
It’s been a busy couple weeks for Jennifer Lopez. She’s engaged to Ben Affleck (for the 2nd time), she’s starring in rom-coms again, and is the subject of a documentary. The all-new Netflix documentary, Halftime, is set to debut at the Tribeca Film Festival.
What is the JLo Netflix documentary Halftime about?
The Netflix documentary Halftime will give viewers an inside look into the mind of entertainer and Hollywood icon Jennifer Lopez. JLo will reflect on her accomplishments and milestones in recent years and celebrate her evolution from actor to artist. The documentary will include moments from her iconic 2020 Super Bowl halftime show, the filming of Hustlers, POTUS Joe Biden’s inauguration, and more.
Jennifer Lopez lays it all out on the table in Halftime and talks about her experience as a Latina and a mother and entertainer in Hollywood.
Here’s the synopsis straight from Netflix:
“Halftime offers an intimate peek behind the curtain revealing the grit and determination that makes Jennifer Lopez the icon she is, from her performances onscreen and on stages around the world, to her Super Bowl Halftime show, to the recent Presidential inauguration. The documentary focuses on an international superstar who has inspired people for decades with her perseverance, creative brilliance and cultural contributions. And it’s only the beginning. Halftime serves as the kickoff to the second half of Lopez’s life, as she lays bare her evolution as a Latina, a mother, and an artist, taking agency in her career and using her voice for a greater purpose.”
If Halftime proves anything about Jennifer Lopez, it’s that at 53 she has no plans to slow down. Get it, girl!
