Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds took to twitter to share a CGI video that was made by Malaysian content creator Mohamad Sofian Abdullah.

Sofian had the opportunity to chat with Reynolds via Zoom when the actor was doing interview junkets for the Netflix movie The Adam Project back in March.

And the Kelantan-born Sofian – who goes by the Instagram handle sofyank96 – had asked Reynolds to star in his CGI video.

Reynolds wrote on Twitter: “I think this sets an unfair standard for 4 minute junket interviews.”

Sofian told StarLifestyle: “I was very nervous when it was my turn to talk to Ryan Reynolds. He’s such a big name in the movie industry, and here I am directing him to do things like to look around the room. I did have my doubts.

“But this big star did it and I got a 16-second video of Ryan Reynolds acting for my video.

“After that, I made it into a 54-second short that’s 80% CG, which took me about a month to complete because I could only do it in my free time as I am working full time with a company.”

The video has received 1.1 million views already so far.

Previously, Sofian had done special content featuring John Cena and Will Smith.
