Actor and director, Oscar winner, star of the films “Mystic River” and “Harvey Milk” Sean Penn came to Lviv to support Ukrainian settlers.

As it became known to the BAGNET website from the message of the chairman of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maxim Kozitsky, Sean Penn’s charitable foundation will purchase and bring humanitarian supplies.

 Now I’m not speaking as a documentarian, but as leader of the charity CORE. We offer any assistance. We are ready to assist, both with technical issues, and and communication. Now we understand that we need to accommodate people”, – Sean Penn said.

Before the start of full-scale Russian aggression, the director worked on documentaries in Ukraine. From 23 February he was in Kyiv on shooting. After that, he was forced to evacuate from the war across the Ukrainian-Polish border.
