George and Amal Clooney are reportedly planning on selling their home in Cabo, Mexico and staying with their neighbours and close pals, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, when they visit the area.

The ‘Monuments Men’ star and the 49-year-old beauty – who is married to Rande Gerber – own adjacent houses in Cabo, Mexico and are reportedly planning to sell one and time-share with the other home.

A source told Entertainment Tonight: “When George was single and living a wilder lifestyle, having that big house for all his parties made sense.

“But now he’s settled down with Amal – those days are behind him.”

And when they do choose to sell, they will have no problem getting a hefty sum for the home as it features no less than seven bedrooms, ten bathrooms, swimming pools and a separate quarter for staff. The mansions also boast 180-degree views of the beautiful surroundings.

Meanwhile, Cindy recently revealed she “respects” George and Amal for not bothering to try and keep their wedding a secret.

She said: “I think George decided – and Amal, too – which I thought was smart of them, typically, that either you spend all this time and energy trying to make it secret or you just go, ‘You know what? We’re getting married in Venice and we’re going to have this great party and we’re going to do exactly what we want.’

The 54-year-old actor and the British human rights lawyer, who got married in Italy nine months ago, have reportedly decided they are ready to make having a family a priority.

A source close to the couple said: “They decided that it would be the right time. Amal isn’t taking on extra work at the moment and just continuing with the cases she has.

“This is something they really want.”

The 37-year-old beauty hopes to give birth in London a few months after they move back into their $15 million home in Berkshire, which is undergoing extensive renovations.

The insider told Us Weekly magazine: “The building plans include a nursery. They hope to have all the work done by Christmas.”

The ‘Gravity’ actor previously admitted having children wasn’t high on his list of priorities.

Speaking in May, he said: “I mean, I’ve thought about it, I suppose. But I haven’t really–it hasn’t been high on my list of…I’ve been asked it a lot lately because I’ve gotten married and I’m doing a movie with kids in it…”

But the Oscar winner is said to have changed his mind after spending time with some of Amal’s friends and their children.
