Over the years, we have seen several Bollywood actors in Hollywood films. Actors like Alia Bhatt, Hrithik Roshan are also gearing up for their Hollywood debut. In past, Priyanka Chopra Jonas played supporting roles in Baywatch and Isn’t It Romantic in 2017 and 2019, respectively. Among other projects, she also did the lead role in the American TV series Quantico. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has also been seen in a few Hollywood films like Mistress of Spices, Bride and Prejudice, Pink Panther 2 and others.

In 2017, the biggest awards function in Hollywood – the Oscars – paid tribute to late actor Om Puri, who did films like My Son the Fanatic and The Ghost and the Darkness. Other Indian actors who have done films in the West are Anupam Kher, Deepika Padukone, Nawazuddin Siddique, Naseeruddin Shah and the late Irrfan Khan.
