Harry Styles performs with Shania Twain at Coachella

As Harry Styles stuns fans on stage at Coachella this month – with country music legend Shania Twain joining him for a surprise cameo over the weekend – one woman in particular has been enjoying watching the former One Direction singer become the main attraction at the festival.

Actress and director Olivia Wilde, 38, was pictured cheering and dancing in the crowd on Friday night, as her boyfriend Harry, 28, headlined the 2022 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio.

In the snaps, the mum-of-two can be seen dancing in the crowd with celebrity pals like James Corden, wearing a stunning floral silk Gucci dress, YSL peacoat and a bandana as she busted a move to her beau’s tunes.

The cute moment that will no doubt fuel the rumours that the loved-up couple are already engaged, after dating for over a year.

As Harry and Olivia’s romance becomes the talk of Coachella, we take a look at how the love birds met, their famous exes and what they say about their blossoming romance.

How did Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde meet?

It’s believed almost nearly a fifth of Brits met their current or most recent partner at work, and it seemed Harry is adding to those statistics.

The Watermelon Sugar singer met his current girlfriend on the set of her film Don’t Worry Darling in late 2020, in which Olivia directed Harry who appears as Jack in the thriller.

Their meeting came just months after the actress and director split from her long-term partner and fiance, Ted Lasso creator Jason Sudeikis.

“Harry and Olivia had chemistry almost instantaneously on set,” an insider told US Weekly last year. “It was only a matter of time before they got together.”

The rumour mill went into overdrive in January 2021, when the couple were snapped holding hands at the singer’s manager’s wedding.

Past romances

Between them, Harry and Olivia have dated some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry – and royalty – before finding love with one another.

Just months before falling for the former One Direction star, Olivia had been in a long-term relationship with the father of her two children; a son, Otis, born in 2014, and a daughter, Daisy, born in 2016.

Jason and Olivia first struck up a romance in 2011 – with the Horrible Bosses actor popping the question in January 2013.

Prior to enjoying her union with Jason, Olivia had tied the knot as a teenager – marrying Italian filmmaker and musician Tao Ruspoli, a member of the aristocratic Ruspoli family, at the age of 19 in 2003.

The pair – who married on a school bus with only a pair of witnesses – announced their separation in 2011, with their divorce finalised later the same year.

Meanwhile, Harry has dated some of the world’s most famous women since rising to fame as a teenager on The X Factor.

The Cheshire-born star has enjoyed flings and relationships with stars such as the late Caroline Flack, Taylor Swift, reality TV star Kendall Jenner and French-American model Camille Rowe.

Sexuality rumours

Over the years, thanks to his strong support of the LGBTQ community and refusal to conform to boring gender norms, it is often speculated that Harry is bisexual.

Although the singer recently hasn’t given a definitive statement regarding his sexuality, in 2019, the Fine Line hitmaker discussed his perceived sexual ambiguity with The Guardian.

“Am I sprinkling in nuggets of sexual ambiguity to try and be more interesting? No. In terms of how I wanna dress, and what the album sleeve’s gonna be, I tend to make decisions in terms of collaborators I want to work with,” he told the publication.

“I want things to look a certain way. Not because it makes me look gay, or it makes me look straight, or it makes me look bisexual, but because I think it looks cool. And more than that, I dunno, I just think sexuality’s something that’s fun. Honestly? I can’t say I’ve given it any more thought than that.”

Thanks to playing many iconic bisexual characters on screen over the years, fans have also suspected Harry’s girlfriend Olivia is part of the LGBTQ family.

The actress – who played Misha Barton’s character’s girlfriend on The O.C – again has never explicitly come out, but has seemingly hinted about an interest in dating women.

In 2015, Olivia appeared on Bravo’s What What Happens Live and played ‘Plead the Fifth’, with her then-fiancee Jason.

At one point, the Ted Lasso actor asked her whether she’s “dipped her toe in the lady pool”, to which Olivia blush and replied “I appreciate all people” – seemingly hinting at previous same-sex relationships.

Engagement rumours

Harry and Olivia may have only been a couple for just over a year, but fans are convinced the multi-talented star is set to get down on one knee and ask the Booksmart director to be his wife.

Instagram gossip account DeuxMoi has even reported that the loved-up pair are already engaged.

An Instagram user asked social media’s version of Gossip Girl if they thought Harry and Olivia are engaged to which Deux Moi responded: “Yes”.

The anonymous person behind the account added that they thought “there is a high probability that they are”.
