An Oscar-winning actress was spotted at an Upstate New York restaurant this week.

The Times-Union reports “Jurassic Park” star Laura Dern dined out at Savona’s Trattoria in Poughkeepsie, near Vassar College, on Tuesday. Dern enjoyed the Italian restaurant’s outdoor patio with her daughter and friends.

“I noticed her right away when I gave her the menus,” Savona’s floor manager Erin Cayea, who got a picture with Dern, told the Albany newspaper.

“You never know, sometimes people want to be left alone, but she was very kind,” Cayea added.

Dern, 55, is the daughter of actors Bruce Dern and Diane Ladd. Laura Dern won her first Academy Award for best supporting actress in 2020 for “Marriage Story,” starring Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson.

Dern has appeared in more than 90 movies and TV shows, including as Ellie Sattler in “Jurassic Park,” Vice Admiral Holdo in “Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi,” Renata Klein in “Big Little Lies,” Diane Evans in “Twin Peaks,” and Sandy Williams in “Blue Velvet.” She also had roles on “Frasier,” “The West Wing,” “Little Fockers,” “The Fault in Our Stars,” “F is for Family,” “Little Women,” “The Master,” “The Founder,” and “Wild,” starring Reese Witherspoon as Syracuse University alumna Cheryl Strayed.

Dern next appears in “Jurassic World: Dominion,” reuniting with “Jurassic Park” stars Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and BD Wong alongside Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. The dinosaur adventure is scheduled to hit theaters June 10.
