Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan’s latest film, Kalki 2898 AD, is showing no signs of slowing down. Not just in the domestic market, the film is also a rage overseas, dominating markets in North America, Canada, and Germany. The film has collected Rs 555 crore worldwide within just four days of its release, with Rs 115 crore coming from the film’s Hindi version. According to early reports, Kalki will enter the Rs 600 crore club with its Monday box office collection.

BookMyShow said in a statement, “Kalki 2898 AD is off to a phenomenal start with 8.3 million tickets sold, marking the highest selling opening weekend since K.G.F: Chapter 2 on BookMyShow. The film has created a theatrical riot across India, reflecting its widespread appeal and keen anticipation among diverse audiences.”

Released on June 27, Kalki stormed into theaters with a record-breaking opening weekend, raking in Rs 555 crore worldwide. This feat surpassed the previous record of Rs 520.79 crore held by Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan, making it the highest weekend earner ever.

In regards to Deepika, Kalki 2898 AD has significantly outperformed Pathaan, making it her highest opener to date. Previously, Pathaan had achieved a global box office gross of Rs 106 crore on its first day, marking it as her best opening at the time. Kalki 2898 AD has now far exceeded that figure.
