Kim Kardashian has admitted she uses a “finsta”—otherwise known as a fake Instagram account—to read celebrity gossip about herself and to stalk her friends.

The mother-of-four revealed that although she boasts a staggering 300 million followers on her main account, she uses a secret secondary account to keep up with her friends.

Speaking to Amanda Hirsch on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Kardashian revealed that she used to even follow the host from her finsta.

“I used to follow you from my finsta and then I was like, I don’t go to my finsta that often and just want it on my regular feed,” the SKIMS founder said.

“I had a finsta, that was like a real finsta and it was only following girls who would just post like really wild s*** and I was like, ‘This is so lame, I don’t want to be in the finsta game.'”

However, Kardashian revealed that she needs what she calls a “stalking finsta” and has used her friend’s one in the past.

“But then I need a stalking finsta and so my friend Lala, she had a finsta, and I don’t want to make one again, so I asked ‘What is your password?’ So I just used her finsta and I kicked her out of her finsta and now I just use hers,” she explained.

“Just to stalk people, like fan accounts, or fashion-y things or just everyone you could possibly think of.”

She then name-checked celebrity gossip account Deuxmoi, adding: “Like Deuxmoi. I look at Deuxmoi from my finsta.”

Kardashian’s comments about having a finsta are a relatively rare admission in the celebrity world, where many high-profile figures claim to not read celebrity gossip or gossip about themselves.

In December, Selena Gomez revealed that she deleted social media apps from her phone.

“That’s a huge, significant part of why I feel like I’ve been as healthy as I have been,” she told WWD at the time. “I’m completely unaware of, actually, what’s going on in pop culture, and that makes me really happy. And maybe that doesn’t make everybody else happy, but for me, it’s really saved my life.”

Meanwhile, Cardi B deactivated her Twitter and Instagram accounts after getting into a spat with her fans over her decision not to attend the Grammy Awards earlier this year.

Before departing social media, she wrote, per Billboard: “I’m deleting my twitter but On God I hate this f***in dumba** fan base. You got the slow dumba**es dragging my kids all cause y’all though I was going to the Grammys and I didn’t the f***? When the f*** I hinted I was going ? just f***in stupid I can’t I needs to protect myself.”
