When it comes to giving a proper apology, it’s better to hear it late than never and it’s all coming from Kim Kardashian who had a chance to reflect on how her relationship with rapper and ex-husband Kanye West has affected her family during the most recent episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians.”

In this episode, Kardashian finds out her ex-husband is releasing a new song and isn’t too happy about it because she began to suspect that he will use the song as an opportunity to talk badly about her. According to E!, to Kardashian “he’s talking mad [expletive] about me and probably saying whatever.”

To show her support for her older sister, Khloe Kardashian weighed in, “Most men are not trashing the mother of their kids like that publicly. We don’t have to sit here and throw stones back. Just take it on the chin.”

Additionally, momager Kris Jenner was in support of her daughter as well, reassuring her that she has “done nothing but be great to him.”

According to CNN, later on in a confessional, Kardashian acknowledge the ordeal, noting, “I do recognize the impact that my relationship has had on my family, and I’ve never had the opportunity to just say, ‘I’m sorry, guys’” she apologized to her family during the episode. “I protected that for so long, but I said I will never let that happen to you guys again.”

“For once in my life, I feel strong,” she added. “I’m not gonna let anyone treat you guys a way or myself.”

While her family didn’t have much to say, later on in a confessional, her mother thought of Kardashian and West’s kids – North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm – due to the fact that they might see everything that’s written one day and speak of how hurtful things such as this is similar to a domino effect for the family.

“When people are saying disparaging things about any of us, it hurts all of us. That’s something that everybody has to be really aware of,” Jenner said.

Reassuringly, Kardashian has the support of her family and that’s what’s most important.
